What to do when you're moving home

If you're moving within or out of the area, you'll need to notify us using one of the options below.


How to notify us

We know moving home can be an exciting and daunting time and we want to make things as easy as possible for you. You can use the options below to tell us that you've moved, simply choose the option that matches your situation.

If you’re a landlord, find out more about the Landlord and Tenant Address Portal.

If you're not sure whether we're your water company, you can use the Water UK postcode checker.

Before getting started, there are a few details that you should have to hand.

  • Your customer number. This is the eight to 10 digit number in the top right corner of your water bill.
  • Payment reference from your latest bill. This is the 13-digit number in the top right corner of your bill.
  • Final meter reading. Learn more here about how to find and read your water meter.
