How would you like to pay your water bill?

We offer different ways to pay your water bill, so you can choose the method that suits you best. Find out more about the available options below.


What you'll need

Before paying, make sure you have your customer number and payment reference number to hand. You can find both of these in the top right corner of your latest bill. The whole process of paying should only take a few minutes.

Paying through online banking

We've changed banks – from NatWest to HSBC. If you pay by Direct Debit, you don't need to do anything – these details will update automatically.

But if you pay by Bacs, standing order, or directly through your bank, make sure you've updated our account information to:

  • Sort code: 40-02-50
  • Account number: 91426907

Please note: You must quote the payment reference from the top-right corner of your water bill.

To make a bulk payment for multiple accounts, please send a remittance to cashiers@southernwater.co.uk. For enquiries about anything else, please get in touch.
