Notification of proposed works

Here you can find helpful information for filling in the notification form for proposed plumbing works. We've also added an explanation of what works you'll need to notify us about.

background

When do you need to notify us?

The plumbing work which you need to notify us in advance about is detailed below. Please note that where the installation is 2, 4(b) or 4(f), no notification is required if the work is done by an approved plumber. However, when the work is finished, a copy of the compliance certificate must be sent to the person who commissioned the work.

In the case of a Reduced Pressure Zone (RPZ) assembly, the contractor must also notify Southern Water.
